We had an adventure in backroads driving and camping to line us up for 3 highpoints in one day, and it was worth it. First off was a windy, chilly, foggy morning with a drive and short walk to Spruce Knob at the top of West Virginia. Nice big tower at the top. On the way down the hill we found a large tree across the road blocking our path, creating another adventure in driving the backroads of West Virginia. Eventually we made it back to civilization, on our way to Maryland!
